Grand Isle, Louisiana -This report came to us through our on scene guerrilla reporter Robert Rutherford. We are currently attempting to confirm the amount of oil in the area and will be updating this story. Reports that Coast Guard critical response teams packed up and vacated the town, with the government covering their hotel tabs.
As of 12:00 PM CST, possible battle hardened troops or National Guard, in full battle gear and body armor with have been seen moving into the area. Fully armored HUMVEES with 50 Cal active gun turrets are reportedly arriving on scene as well. All troops and vehicles are in woodland patterns.
Black trucks with red letters displaying “Disaster Relief Team” have also arrived. The Crisis Management Corp. is reportedly present as well.
Robert from Patrioticspace.com has reported that the troops looked “battle hardened”.

According to reports at least 17,500 troops have been mobilized, ordered by President Obama.

CDC is monitoring potential health threats or conditions across the five Gulf States that may arise as a result of human exposure to the oil spill. We are in constant communication with our state partners and have a standing commitment to quickly support and respond to any emerging health threats.

That kind of equipment is for COMBAT ZONES, not relief efforts.
So, be alert because if there is one DEAD, this would be the beginning of the END.

Seems that there is a mass exodus from the workers that were hired. To many complaints of sickness related to the fumes, employees not wanting to clean up dead animals or wildlife. Also complaints of being paid late. Workers who have been hired are not really engaged into cleaning up the mess as they would rather fratenize and hang out. So that must effect morale, also who would want to bunk up with felons and other with criminals with an extensive history. That is who got hired for the clean ups.
I would say they are getting desperate and looking towards the military to do the clean up as their is a Chain of Command, AKA rank structure and they are disciplined to work in a hazardous county with some training in handling environmental waste procedures.
1. Has anyone tried to reconnect with the original source and verify if he can still be reached.
That is, has an Internet and Cell Phone Blackout been put in place? Seems that such an act by this socialist administration would require a total blackout?
If contact can be re-established then where are the picture?
If contact can not be re-established then where are your ham radio operators? Seems to me that a 1KW “unmonitored” HF rig could punch through just about any local interference, especially if monitored on the other side of the bridge.
2. Has Gov. Jindal’s office made any comments? Has anyone tried to contact him for comment. Seems to me if this is happening, and not a mis-read by an oberserver, that Gov. Jindal would be screaming bloody murder?

Yes, the engineers and scientists asked for the military to come help them get this oil stopped – not the Troops in full armor to take people off to God knows where! Pray! good people! Pray like never before. Evil is as Evil does.

Looking for direct confirmation on this. I understand that this is not a hoax, but this is also the time of year for then to perform drills and training excercises. This would create the perfect environment for them to train on. Just saying. If this however proves to be a planned evacuation then buckle your seat belts kids because this is going to be a bumpy ride!

Even if it is a mobilization, they are headed to a pre-deployment staging area no doubt. Been mobilized often enough in my military career to know that you don’t just jump into battle even at the orders of the president. The next step will be force consolidation and then movement to forward deployment areas. Correct me if you think I’m wrong, but at the worse case scenario that’s what we’re looking at right now. Or as one person said, the military/national guard has been called in to aid in cleanup. I’ll be convinced of the worse when I see unit patches on sleeves, or the lack thereof. Be alert, be ready, but don’t panic.

So have we heard anything more? I am at work and I have a very difficult time hearing any audio because the hospital here blocks a lot of stuff, youtube included. Last report was you would hear something at 2210hrs and if not then sometime soon. Also, it has been said that this information came from a known patriot, where is that patriot? This is what I got from a friend in New Orleans after sending her this page.
The troops are volunteers from other states and they are National Guards. They are coming to help our Guards build the Coastal Barriers to help us save the marshes and wetlands. With the added help and added chopper they are coming in they can build more at a faster rate.
I know people are turned off by the oil companies right now but La. needs the people to get Obama to lift the 6 months closing of the rest of the rigs. More than half of them are threatening to move else where and we can not afford to lose another industry down here. We have already lost a large part of the seafood industry and 60% of our income down here comes form the oil industry. For years we have had no problems and for the most part the rigs have been safe, They are mostly owned by other companies than BP. Some from Shell that has a very good record.
Another thing we need is the royalies that were finally promised to us after Katrina that comes from these rigs. We never got a penny from them before and the bill that was passed states we will not start getting any until 2017. It was to be used only to restore and rebuild our coastal area and wetlands. We need that now to save them plus restore and rebuild them. We can not wait to 2017. We have always taken the risk for the rest of the nation. They reaped the benifits from the risk we took and we never got a penny for any of it ever. But now we need the nation to stand up for us and help us . Make Obama lift the 6 months closing and give us the percentage of the royalities promised before that 2017 date. We need to save our marshes and wetlands and we can not depend on BP or the Feds to do it. If we had what was promised to us and what we should have been receiving all along than we can do it ourself. We would not need the feds and we can tell BP to take a hike.
I will be looking into this right now. Very possible.
A suggestion. Next time the title not sound so battle hardend but say “UNCONFIRMED TROOP MOVEMENTS” would sound like good intel to me

I have been searching and searching for hours now and cannot find nothing. I am also trying very hard not to believe that there is a mole and this sounds like a hoax. How is it that you say the one that reported this “would be home in a couple of days with the proof”? If this reporter saw this and could confirm it why would we have to wait days to see the proof? Again I am trying very hard not to believe that this is a hoax. Can you understand me asking?

I believe stevecast65 is 100% on the money here. I’m ex-military, and this fits standard predeployment protocols. I must also say that kettenhunde is also 100% correct. Given the way these troops were loaded out, they are NOT here for any type of disaster recovery or mitigation role. THESE ARE COMBAT TROOPS, and being that Barack Hussein Obumbler is now currently Chairman of the U.N. Security Council…I DON’T DOUBT FOR A SECOND, the presence of U.N. “Peacekeepers” here on American soil!
I rather think that we’ll be seeing MORE of them, ESPECIALLY from the RUSSIAN FEDERATION, BELARUS, and probably GERMANY as well! If this is what I think it is, then it’s part of Operation Garden Plot, and we will probably be seeing U.S., U.N. and FOREIGN air assets flying over our cities, and I DON’T MEAN CARGO PLANES. I managed to find this article indicating that back in May Senators were pressing for 17,500 National Guard troops which has FEDERAL AUTHORIZATION! Possible that if this reporter did see anything that it was in relation to this? I still cannot understand why someone with such integrity would report something like they have but not have anything to back it up but yet ask someone to put it all over the internet.

WASHINGTON – Homeland Security and Pentagon officials are at loggerheads over a plan to send National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, even as President Barack Obama is pledging to bolster security there.
The Guard stalemate has festered for nearly a year, and frustrated lawmakers are demanding action to stem the spread of violence and drug trafficking that has spilled across the border into their states. The inaction raises questions about whether the White House is convinced the federally funded deployment is necessary, or whether border states will be forced to bear the costs of dispatching the Guard troops on their own.
Speaking at the White House on Wednesday with Mexican President Felipe Calderon, Obama said the U.S. is committed to standing with Mexico against the drug cartels.
“As your partner, we’ll give you the support you need to prevail,” he said, adding that through increased law enforcement on the U.S. side of the border, “we’re putting unprecedented pressure on those who traffic in drugs, guns and people.”
Fueling the discord over sending the National Guard to the border was the U.S. response to the Gulf oil spill, which has included federal authorization for deploying up to 17,000 National Guard troops.
Those costs, however, are likely to be borne by oil giant BP PLC, which leased the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon that exploded off the Louisiana coast April 20, killing 11 and releasing a huge, continuing oil spill.
The oil spill notwithstanding, border state lawmakers say they need help too.
“If you’ll indulge me, we think we have another crisis on the border,” Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., told Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano at a hearing this week. “I want to know about whether you’re going to send the Guard to the border or not.”
When she tried to explain other DHS improvements along the border, McCain cut her off.
“People’s homes are being violated, and their families can’t take kids to the bus stop,” the senator fumed. “And you are very familiar with the issue, because you yourself asked for the Guard to go to the border back in 2006.”
Napolitano, a former Arizona governor, responded that the request involves the White House as well as the Pentagon and the Homeland Security Department, and is still in the interagency process. While she said she would like the decision to be made as soon as possible, she added she could not say when she would have an answer.
“We don’t have a resolution on that yet,” Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart said in an interview with The Associated Press. Renuart, who headed the U.S. Northern Command until his retirement Wednesday after 39 years of service, added that while money is a point of contention, the greater disagreement centers on what missions the National Guard would perform.
He said the discussion between the Defense and Homeland Security departments continues, and some of the requests “have evolved a bit in this interim period.” He did not provide details.
First floated last June, the idea was to use 1,500 Guard troops temporarily to supplement border patrol agents. The Pentagon and Homeland Security drafted a $225 million plan, but disagreed over who would pay for it and how the troops would be utilized.
Pentagon officials, worried about perceptions that the U.S. was militarizing the border, argued that the Guard could only be used for particular duties. Military leaders said they did not want Guard troops to screen vehicles at border points or perform any law enforcement duties, and said the program should be temporary and not tied to any existing program that could get extended.
Defense officials have said that possible missions for the Guard soldiers could include surveillance along the border, intelligence analysis, helicopter transportation support and aviation surveillance, which likely would involve unmanned aircraft.
In a letter to Obama this week, McCain and Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., said sending at least 6,000 National Guard to the border — with half focused on the Arizona portion — would immediately improve the safety of Americans there.
White House spokesman Nick Shapiro said the administration has taken a number of steps to improve security at the border, including adding more law enforcement personnel and prosecutors, and increasing cooperation with the Mexican government.
“The president is firmly committed to ensuring that our Southwest border is secure,” Shapiro said. “The administration continues to evaluate additional law enforcement options as well as the use of the National Guard, as needed, along the Southwest border.”
I just spoke with a lady who was at Grande Isle today and yesterday. She confirmed that the National Guard was there, but besides the typical jeeps and humvees that was it. She saw no black trucks with red writing. Nor did she see battle armored troops.
Again, this is only one persons report…please use it how you will.
First… let me say this:
ANY story that provides NO PROOF isn’t a story that with validity. No matter what the “eye witness” may say, in this day in which we live, there MUST be proof.
Plus, come on folks, of course there is oil out there! We must be careful to not sound like, nor become, conspiracy nuts. All you have to do is go to NOAA and look at the satellite feed to see the oil.
Anyway… we must watch this illegal administration like a hawk, that’s a given. However, reports like these, that con’t to give NO PROOF must be taken with a grain of salt. For all they do is heighten the level of anxiety unnecessarily.
We have so much proof of what’s going on in other spectrum’s that we need not adhere to assumptions or radical hypothesis.
One last thing, WHERE’S THE PROOF OF THIS SUPPOSED TROOP DEPLOYMENT? Offloading them the way the supposedly did proves what? Battle readiness? Come on! Why the disinformation and paranoia? I’m very surprised by SOME of you!!

I’m retired now but, I submitt that a percentage (probably a significant percentage) of ‘Guardsmen’ being ordered to unconstitutionally suppress the civilian population of the U.S. would rebell or at least ‘drag feet’ and ‘put out the word’ of warning. When your ‘National Guard’ relative comes home to say: ‘You can’t believe what they are ordering us to do’, then I’ll take notice and hide in my basement!
I spoke to a Ms. Dewyre of Grand Isle Suites, in Grand Isle. She reports no military or police presence. “Ain’t nobody protecting us, but thugs,” Ms. Dewyre said. Poor soul was cleaning toilets when I interrupted her with my call. She says she is becoming ill and she feels like the country is letting the gulf coast die.

Patriot: My husband is NG, and he says the same thing as the poster quoted above.

Plans are drawn up to evacuate all homes and people in Costal Acadiana under EPA/CDC regs for health hazard reasons related to oil aerosols fumes. Gov Jindal has already signed off on this. This info comes from a Govt source in Baton Rouge who requested anonyminity.

Well so far no information from the “source” that is suppose to be credible. I have spoke to numerous people in that area and none of them are reporting this kind of activity.
The only disinformation that is going around is the misinformation that was announced here. Again, if this source seen this, there would be proof before it was posted. I am a bit disappointed that some would go with this story with no proof. You have to have proof and a story to back it up. I’m going to give this site another chance since I am a newbie, but if this should happen again, I will not return.
Again, I am not trying to be mean or rude but I like confirmed info, and if it takes days to confirm something that is plastered all over the internet, then it’s not news worthy. I would highly recommend that this story be taken down and off the site until confirmation if there is any at.

I just talked with the intel team in Louisiana and they are on their way back.
They have gotten some pictures and some video. They are not sure just what they do have at this time. They will be taking their time in putting any further info together before it is released.
I think… They were somewhat successful in gathering some intel & equipment information, that might be helpful in the ‘future’.
On a side note:
I personally think…. This story was made bigger or senationalized, more than it needed to be at this time. I hate false fires and sensationalism… We will ALL use more restraint and discipline in the future…….. I hope.

CDC and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recognize the importance of anticipating, monitoring and responding to any potential public health hazards that may affect human health. Currently, 132 CDC and ATSDR staff members are involved in the response, including 11 staff members who are deployed to Gulf Coast states. CDC is monitoring potential health threats or conditions across the five Gulf States that may arise as a result of human exposure to the oil spill. We are in constant communication with our state partners and have a standing commitment to quickly support and respond to any emerging health threats.
CDC, in coordination with state and local health departments, is conducting surveillance across the five Gulf States for health effects related to the oil spill using established national surveillance systems, including the National Poison Data System (NPDS) and BioSense. These systems are being used to monitor for respiratory, cardiovascular, ocular, dermal, gastrointestinal, and neurological symptoms, including asthma exacerbation, cough, chest pain, eye irritation, nausea, and headache. CDC is currently consulting with the Gulf States to determine how these data should be shared among health agencies and the public.
CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is providing information to industry, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Coast Guard, and other federal and state partners to protect workers and volunteers from potential safety and health hazards related to the spill and clean up efforts. NIOSH is also assisting OSHA and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) with technical assistance for training response workers.
NIOSH is collaborating with BP Safety and OSHA compliance personnel to coordinate the collection and analysis of injury and illness data being reported to OSHA by BP. NIOSH is also conducting a voluntary survey (roster) of workers who are participating in the response so to create a record and a mechanism to contact these workers about spill-related symptoms of illness or injury, as deemed necessary. More than 3000 responders (BP-trained, volunteer, vessel of opportunity operators, and federal workers) have been rostered and efforts continue to increase this participation.
CDC’s Environmental Health Team continues to review environmental data packages from the Gulf of Mexico in coordination with the Environmental Protection Agency. CDC is reviewing the sampling of data to determine whether short term or long term health effects might be caused by exposure to oil, oil constituents, or dispersants. These data include sampling results for air, water, soil/sediment, and waste oil samples (material actually reaching the beach or marsh).
The levels of some of the pollutants that have been reported to date may cause temporary eye, nose, or throat irritation, nausea, or headaches, but are not thought to be high enough to cause long-term harm.
EPA and CDC will continue to monitor the air, water, and soil/sediment and if we begin to detect levels that might be of health concern, we will provide updates to the public. I watched Robert’s teaser video and I seen absolutely NOTHING out of the ordinary. We know that the national guard is there. We know that they have humvee’s and yes some of them probably have .50 caliber weapons on them. I am sure that the national guard troops also brought their gear with them including their service weapons.
Alex, I don’t know much about this site nor do I know much about Robert’s either. I am watching both closely. Again though, from what Robert was saying there are 3 things going on there that nobody knows about and that we should be very concerned with. If that is the case why are we hiding it? I understand it takes time to put out a video, but could he not blog what he seen and put it into detail now that it has gone viral?? I think we need to be careful what we post on the internet because crying wolf when there is no wolf is not cool, at least not with me. I know our government is out to get us. I know that martial law is eventually coming if we the people allow it to happen. I know all this, but this was taking it to far in my opinion and should have been held back until he had pictures, video or blogged about the entire situation. Again, there was nothing in that teaser video that told me that I need to take cover and get my family to safety.

People: So glad to hear about the information some of you were able to get from using Google. Better check & see if those Google returns are still available! Tonight, I was unable to access two of Jeff Rense’s three recent blog posts. Google directed me to unrelated sites when I clicked on each one.
For me, this all started earlier when I tried to access a Blogpulse search I saved very early this morning, sometime after midnight. WordPress initially stated that they would be “back in a minute” when I tried to once again access Steven John Hibbs’ 06/10/10 “Tonka Report” entitled “Emergency Disaster and Terrorist Drills Begin In Chicago 6/14/10″ from that Blogpulse search using the words “corexit explosion”(no quotes). On my second try, WordPress responded with “Oopsie! [followed by something about a wrong or missing link].”
Thereafter, I went directly to the blog itself. I think it was because you can scroll down through all the blog posts under “Genocide” that I was finally able to access this particular post. Take a look (but scroll down after clicking the link):

Under tense situation, those orders can get misinterpreted. As for the validity of these troop reports, I have a friend who was passing through Shreveport yesterday and said the town was swarming with Army National Guardsmen. At any rate, better for all to quietly get prepared, get your affairs in order, make your plans to depart before the troops round you up. In the end, if this all turns out to be bloewn out of proportion, you’l have lost little. The alternative is much more frightening.
