U.S. Military NOT on 18 Hour Alert For Domestic Deployment

We posted an article about this rumor in order to weed out the fact from fiction. Shepard laid out the latest corporate rhetoric(which is still very relevant) and put forth why the 82nd would be deployed. The article we posted clearly mentioned that this was pure speculation but put forth possibilities as to why it COULD be happening.
This is a great example of people working together. Various groups and activists checked with their sources and it became clear that this is simply not true. The initial reports came from multiple people including Andrew, who also mentioned that most of his first video was obvious speculation and not a call to bug out.

What the hell are you talking about “No Fear Mongering”? The US Media have been fear mongering for the last thirty years, what’s the difference between them peddling fear and us telling the truth?
Something is in the works and it MUST happen BEFORE the midterm elections so keep your eyes peeled for Homeland security on the prowl and they may be hanging around with several Mossad agents lurking in the shadows in preparation for their next attempt at slowing the rate of DISSENT of the American people.

food problems will start to be visable nexy year at this timne, we will see more food problems and countries hanging on to thier food supply at home than to sell on the market . The fiancial debt situtaion is unpayable at this point so the systme needs to change or collapse. Paper fiat money systems always fail and then another one will replace it, its devaluation to rip you off on a vast scale . The unemployment will continue to rise and so will the rise in foodstamps and other government services will increase.Our Leaders and Politicians continue to drive the sheep to the slaughter house. They have no intention of haveing secure boarders or creating jobs because everythignis about corporate profits and control . Behind every politician is a corporation who throws the money in to keep thier people in power so they will make favorable decesions for the corporations . time is running out but they have the ability to control the coming collapse slowly but surely .

We have a case of de-com kits, a case of anti-nerve agent syringes (all military grade), along with masks and serious survival gear. Stock up on water and water bladders, folks. Special Forces and Rangers are two different Entities… And if you ever called a ranger special forces in front of an special forces opp he might would disembowel you… There is a saying… if you want a ranger to get some where, you send a Green Beret (Special Forces) with him…. The Green Beret, Navy Seals, Marine Recon, and Air Force Air Rescue… those are the Special Forces… Not Rangers… Rangers are what Screwed the pooch in Mogadishu They are half trained wanna be special forces… no better than any other Dog (infantry, airborne, or not) unit..

You guys were crystal clear that it was speculation. I don’t know what everyone is crying about! If anything – it was a good wake up call to think about a preparation plan – for when it inevitably happens for real.

From a friend at my forum: “There is always a maneuver brigade designated to respond to emergencies, it rotates through available units annually. FEMA (Which now falls under HSA) after all has the power to tap every other executive agency for support in emergencies, which includes DOD forces, a quite foreseeable need and so a brigade is always identified for this. As referred to above, that was what all that pointless fearmongering over the 3ID Brigade was awhile back.
That’s entirely different from being mobilized for it (And the 82d is supposed to be about as ‘Mobilized’ as it can get already, since it’s an active component unit). An active component unit would only get ‘Alerted for’ or ‘Deployed on’ a mission, and anybody above the rank of E-nothing really ought to have enough sense to know that getting alerted for a mission on a WARNO or FRAGO doesn’t even remotely mean you’re about to go do it, it just tells you that it’s a contingency mission you might have to do, so you will be situationally aware.
I don’t want to waste the bandwidth pulling this down to watch, but if it’s some 82d kid panicking after getting his mission brief, it’s complicated and well outside his daily frame of reference, so I’d discount it accordingly.”

I watched the video, it seemed like a speculation piece to me with a little foreboding. I’ve been on alert, myself, while I was USN. Being on alert is not the same as deploying. Hell, before we deployed to Desert Shield, we were “on alert” for almost two months…

I was an Army grunt with the 101st. All infantry Army battalions throughout the US take rotations throughout the Continental US on QRS duty. That stands for domestic alert status. It’s been a part of the SOP of the Army since the time of WWII. I don’t say I agree with it but anyone who has ever been a grunt in the Army has likely pulled one of these if he was in a unit long enough.
