Texas Judge Who Assaulted His Daughter on Camera Gets His Job Back

Last year a Texas Judge was given an extended paid vacation after a video of him violently assaulting his daughter went viral on the internet.

In the very graphic video that got millions of views, Aransas County Judge, William Adams can be seen violently beating his 16 year old with a belt, screaming at her, and threatening to hit her in the face.

There isn’t a thing in the world that a 16 year old girl could have done to deserve this kind of treatment from a man 3 times her age and twice her size, and to make matters worse it is said that this incident all stemmed from the girl downloading music on the internet.

She wasn’t smoking crack or robbing banks, she was just downloading some music off the internet.

After spending a whole year on a vacation that was paid for by taxpayers, he just recently got word that he would be allowed to have his job back.

There is no doubt that any average citizen in this situation would have CPS knocking on their door as soon as the video was uploaded, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for judge Adams.

According to CBS News:

“In its one-page order Tuesday, the Texas Supreme Court approved an agreement between Adams and the commission lifting the suspension.

As part of the arrangement, Adams waived his right to appeal the warning, which is essentially a public reprimand with no other consequences.

The action allows Adams to return to his judicial duties in the Gulf Coast town of Rockport, Texas, immediately.

Adams’ older daughter, Hillary Adams, uploaded the 2004 video to YouTube just over a year ago.

The video shows William Adams repeatedly whipping his then-16-year-old daughter with a belt for illegally downloading music.”

Although the state has forgiven judge Adams for his abuse, his family has not.  Since the incident his wife has left him, out of concerns for her safety and the safety of her daughter.

Hallie Adams, the judges ex wife was disappointed with the ruling, telling reporters that “Hillary and I are both really sad today.  I had really hoped the judicial review process would work. I had really wanted to see the public protected.”

Due to the volatile and personal nature of the subject, parental abuse has gone under looked in most most modern societies.

In order to help our societies move towards a state of peace it is necessary for us to evolve in the way that we interact with one another.

The most fundamental and important of these interactions that needs to be examined is the relationship between parent and child.

This is such an important aspect of our social evolution because the children really are the future of our world, this is why the government works so hard to propagandize them from such an early age in public schools.

Parenting is probably the most important responsibility that any of us will take on in our entire lives, and it is actually our greatest avenue of affecting real change in the world.

It is very possible that the fight for freedom will be either won or lost by the next generation, which means that it is up to us to make sure that our children are free to create their own path in learning, without being subjected to the oppressive indoctrination processes that are so prevalent in government schools.

Likewise, it is important that we are not authoritarian with our children, if we truly want the next generation to live in freedom.

This does not mean letting children do whatever they want, but it means treating them with the same respect that you would treat an adult that was bigger than you.
