Wal-Mart Shoppers Brawl Over Towels on Black Friday

Different videos have been floating around the web all day showing insane shoppers hurting one another in fights for products that they could have bought from the comfort of their own homes for the same price.
People have gotten trampled in mob rushes, there have been numerous fights reported, and police were posted up in stores throughout the country.
In one video people can be seen fighting and screaming over discounted towels. Situations like this show that maybe all of this Black Friday hysteria goes a lot deeper than just getting a good deal. The truth is that there are tons of great deals online if that was really what people were looking for.
Black Friday has become a ritualistic event for Americans, with many people just being drawn to the excitement and spectacle of a Jerry Springer episode unfolding in their local Wal-Mart.
When people have come to the point where they are using aggression on other human beings just so they can get to a discounted bath towel before the next guy, it is definetly safe to say that everyone involved is acting out some sort of psychosis.

Now imagine the same people when the economy tanks, or an EMP event
and there’s a food shortage…
NOW! imagine those same people with weapons who also know you may have some food or other things they may want!
Glad I don’t live in the US. These people are off their nut. Yes, add a crisis and then factor in guns. These people will be killing each other very quickly over bread, water, petrol, etc.
Uh…yeah….stupid, stupid, STUPID people. You couldn’t PAY me to go anywhere NEAR that kind of insanity…and it IS insanity. We’re not even really celebrating Christmas this year. Don’t have the money really.
This whole Black Friday thing is just Corporate HYPE…and my fellow Americans who fall for that $#it are…well, they’re just plain ignorant.
This is the epitome of sheep being led to slaughter, what better way of separating the people from their money. Even though Wal Mart and others raise their prices by 24% on black friday, people still insist on spending money they don’t have for junk they don’t need that supports a nation ten thousand miles away. I attribute this kind of primitive behavior on the pathetic education system in America where they teach the same small box of pointless information from fourth grade to twelfth grade and this is a perfect example of exactly what America has become from a complete lack of education. There is so much information out there with the internet and still people spend all their time surfing the web for porn, social sites and trash. When will America awaken to what has been done to them?
