Anonymous Avenges Death of Aaron Swartz with Government Hacking

The group known as Anonymous recently hacked into a government website (US Sentencing Commission) making it display the message, “A line was crossed”.
In response to the suicide of Reddit Co-Founder Aaron Swartz, Anonymous has now responded.
According to CBS regarding Swartz;
Officials say he helped post millions of court documents for free online and that he illegally downloaded millions of academic articles from an online clearinghouse.
By mid-morning Saturday the website was offline.
The FBI’s Richard McFeely, executive assistant director of the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch, said in a statement that “we were aware as soon as it happened and are handling it as a criminal investigation.
We are always concerned when someone illegally accesses another person’s or government agency’s network.”
Anonymous also left another message which read in part;
Citizens of the world,
Anonymous has observed for some time now the trajectory of justice in the United States with growing concern.
We have marked the departure of this system from the noble ideals in which it was born and enshrined.
We have seen the erosion of due process, the dilution of constitutional rights, the usurpation of the rightful authority of courts by the “discretion” or prosecutors.
We have seen how the law is wielded less and less to uphold justice, and more and more to exercise control, authority and power in the interests of oppression or personal gain.
According to Newser, “The hackers say they have stolen sensitive Justice Department files—naming them after Supreme Court justices—and threatened to release them unless the federal government reformed its sentencing system.”

as much as i agree with the motives behind what anonymous does, they seem to be walking a fine lie as further “breaches” of sensitive databases will likely lead to more “controls” being placed on average users. although those controls may be inevitable.
You kinda contradicted yourself there, don’tcha think? That’s O.K. though. I suspect that anyone dicking around with government or corporate websites or their computer systems is always walking a fine line anyway.
I’m not a hacker and when hackers create viruses that screw up MY computer, it pisses me off to no end, but when hackers @#$% with corrupt, out-of-control government or corporate entities computer systems, I applaud them.
The U.S. government or factions within, are completely out-of-control along with the corporations that own and operate these factions within our government. As a matter of fact, I shouldn’t even be calling this government “our” government, should I? This government is not “of and for the people” but rather it is “of and for the corporation”.
The judicial system too is completely out-of-control as well.

Well said Major. When someone answers a question about what they do with only five words and then has paragraphs of more bitter comments, I just ignore them.
It is quite difficult to find any blog or threads that have a good group of serious minded explorers of truth and information no matter the subject.
Just left a thread at Fellowship of the Mind I was linked to in some research on why there is no photographic evidence regarding Sandy Hook and the same sort of lug heads were there :-/

You kinda contradicted yourself there, don’t ya think? It’s Ok, though, because I also agree with you and Andrew. Fuck with the government in any way, and you walk that fine line. But we applaud the risk they take.
“The Controls” are inevitable though. We know that. I see no contradiction. andrew speaks the truth.
We’ll see if this is so. Could be something diabolically else. Swartz was a brilliant young man, what a loss and shame!

I have absolutely no sympathy for this Arron Swartz, little more than a sneering, arrogant, capricious, malicious, self righteous juvenile delinquent who felt it was he and he alone who should decide who owns intellectual property of others.
We have seen far, far to much of this sort of criminality from these children, little more than self appointed judge, jury and executioner for matters that bruise their tender and delicate political sensibilities.
From the sociopathic little Australian albino Julian Assange to a festering little collection of pimply faced, pathetic social failures that sit behind computer monitor’s terrorizing private citizens and government for their own sick sense of satisfaction, their warped amusement and their downright vile mechanism to fill the powerless little self inflicted voids in their lives.
The reality is that this little band of thugs, Anonymous, is doing more to prompt the darkening of the internet than any government or corporation, and that’s a fact. Punks like Arron simply those who will silence all the ammunition they need to say “Look at what Anonymous did!!! we must keep the information safe”……what a farce.
And when the Internet Light does go out around the world and the dictators once again have free reign to begin mass slaughter anew…..where will these vulgar little failures be?……sitting behind computer screens flaming and trolling each other and masturbating with their blood drenched political hands to their only available social outlet…cyber porn. How laughably typical.
Now the bloody Swartz family weeps and whines and whimpers…..how hypocritical…how utterly hipster……
The fact is that Aaron Swartz puffed himself and played with fire, and as with so many of these tough guys once they are dragged out into the light of day to face the music, went whimpering and scurrying to hide behind Mummies skirts…….what a farce.
Now this little coward torched his own life out of fear for having to account and pay in full for what he did!!…..what a gutless little bastard.
If this little worm Swartz had one shred of courage he could have easily taken on the mantle of political prisoner, like Alexsander Solzhenitsyn, and fought from the inside, paying the price for his little game. Or he could have followed the well worn paths of courage of conviction and selfless devotion, paths trod by the likes of Nelson Mandela of South Africa, of Mother Theresa of Calcutta, of Tenzin Gyatso of Tibet or Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma….instead he played the role of cowardly, self absorbed hipster to the hilt and snuffed out his own life…..how marvelous….what a lovely role model for other political activists and objectors of conscience!!
Aaron Swartz is dead, good riddance, let him rot and let his legacy be one of arrogance, self righteousness and laughable cowardice.
Let his arrest, his prosecution and his farcical melodrama of a death speak volumes to those other little bastards who climb up on horses of self appointed arbitrators……..

The reality is that Anonymous is simply playing politics, dirty little games of partisan politics.
The actions of Anonymous has the excrement of Marxist fascism smeared all over this little “avenging”
They wrap themselves in the robes of altruism and an air of self righteousness claiming to be the “protectors” of democracy, fighting the “good” fight against “the man” and the “evil corporations” what a gut wrenching farce, this reeks of the Occupy circus.
The reality is that most of Anonymous have a deep seated seething hatred for Western culture, pure and simple.
The reality is the internet is the most powerful weapon/tool ever placed in the hands of the citizen/worker/employer/entrepreneur/activist. With one click of a mouse injustice can be exposed and sent to millions around the world, so to acts of mass murder and oppression.
But do these little Anonymous worms really and truly know what they are playing with? and who appointed them judge jury and executioner.
Think about it for a moment. Words like “hack” and “revenge” and “avenge” may titillate and amuse pathetic little social failures sitting behind computer screens gorging themselves on Red Bull and marathon masturbation sessions but to the hundreds of millions of average people that read of this horseshit in the media it makes them very angry and very uncomfortable. With just one little stunt like this Anonymous just wiped out hundreds of thousands of votes for internet independence as now government can point to incidents like these and call it “cyber-terrorism”…..these stupid fucking bastards just shot us all in the foot.
We badly need a free internet, unbiased, open and without the influence and control, in any form of either government or corporations. Stupidity like this just scares the shit out of the general population and gives totalitarian tyrants carte blanche.

In the end Aaron Swartz played with fire, got caught, and then chose the cowards way out. While I hold scum like Bradley Manning in the same light as excrement, I must admire Manning for enduring the wrath of his enemy. Nothing of the kind can be said of Swartz.
