In Recent Debate Joe Biden Asked “Preppers” to Trade in Their “Assault Weapons” For Shotguns (Video)

Apparently guns aren’t just for hunting anymore. Who would have thought?
Joe Biden has appealed to preppers in a recent appearance, asking them to support an “assault weapons” ban, and suggesting that they just buy some registered shotguns when it goes into effect.
In all reality, people have the moral right to own a few of both without registering them with anyone, but that wasn’t touched on in his discussion. Just earthquakes and “doomsday” scenarios.
“On Thursday, Biden took his pitch one step further, reaching out to the hardest of the hardcore gun owner, the doomsday prepper.
Asked to square his support for an assault weapons ban with view by some that their firearms will protect them if the world goes to hell, Biden said the two things worked perfectly. If the chips are down, Biden said, you’d much rather have a shotgun.
“Guess what? A shotgun will keep you a lot safer — a double-barrel shotgun — than the assault weapon somebody’s hands who doesn’t know how to use it,” Biden, who owns two shotguns of his own, said during a Google+ hangout on gun violence.
“You know, it’s harder to use an assault weapon and hit something than it is to use a shotgun, ok? So if you want to keep people away in an earthquake, buy some shotgun shells.”

These politicians are totally crazy. It is none of their business what people do with their property, especially someones means of self defense.

Does this mental retardation example realize that cops run around with a FULLY AUTOMATIC M16 IN THEIR TRUNKS ALONG WITH EXTENDED TUBE SHOTGUNS?
Plus, are we then, to believe, that this assault weapons banning and hi cap mag banning is all about *COP* safety?

What’s so interesting about all this is that I haven’t owned any guns in a really long time. But over the past two years or so, I have started thinking that I probably SHOULD now own some guns. And I agree, it is absolutely NONE of the government’s business what private property I own. I have every God damned right to protect my family and our property using whatever type of weapon I so choose. I’m not a criminal (like the CIA, or the FBI or the AFTE or the DOD or even the Supreme Court Five), and I have no plans to attack or terrorize ANY of my fellow compatriots whatsoever…unlike Child Support Services or any of the government agencies I listed above. Not everyone who works in those agencies is a terrorist, but those agencies for the most part ARE terrorist agencies…and that is a fact. I am a sovereign world citizen…and no government or its corporate masters has the right to tell me what I can and cannot do with my life.
