Activist, Adam Kokesh, plans to lead an armed march, protest, on the streets of Washington, as the sleeping giant (the populace) has awakened.
While this adds excitement to hard years of perseverance by activists and alternative journalists alike, it also could be a ticking time-bomb waiting to explode.
The Washington Post reported, “Invoking Gandhi while advocating the carrying of loaded firearms is typical of Kokesh, who in his six years as a professional rabble-rouser has embraced positions on every side of the political spectrum.
His past activism has been focused on issues other than guns — things such as peace in Iraq, free speech in the U.S., and presidential candidate Ron Paul. And in most cases, his past stunts didn’t carry a risk of violence; they were theatrical, sometimes even comic.
The one constant through all of it: Kokesh’s tactics are designed to bring media attention to him personally — as well as whatever cause he’s fighting for. In that way, this one is like the rest.” Signifying he is all about being, seen and heard.
While others, like Montagraph, a popular YouTuber, speculate that Kokesh is fueled by testosterone and N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT).
“The synonym for revolt, in the definition itself is mutiny. Mutiny is overthrow”, points out Montagraph.
In 2013, DHS and the establishment would love nothing more than to seize the opportunity to spin this volatile situation for the worst. Youtuber, Montograph, claims that Kokesh is a “Tossed Jock” a ”Civil Affairs as a liaison between the civilian population and the military in Iraq.
While likely Kokesh is trying to garner widespread attention, the situation could be dangerous as many gun laws are in effect, possibly even inhibiting the legality of the peaceful protest.
While avocation of the 2nd amendment is good, and is a right given to us by our Forefathers, we still might question is this is truly a good idea.
